David took up painting at the suggestion of his then partner (now wife) Cecilia, and painting is a major part of their lives. 

 

David paints in acrylic, watercolour and oil, and his subjects are mainly landscapes and seascapes, though he seizes upon any subject which catches his eye.    His work tends to be bold and bright, and he is often drawn to detail, perhaps indicative of his accounting background.

 

David and Cecilia are keen ballroom and Latin American competition dancers and he is also a student of that very elusive art form known as golf.
